EDUCATION
Edinburgh Schools Partnership was the first PFI/PPP procurement strategy for the City of Edinburgh Council.
​
The project supports over 8,000 students and consists of 19 facilities across 17 sites which includes both new builds and refurbished/extended properties. The facilities are distributed geographically city wide and include:

10 primary schools, of which two are joint non-denominational/Roman Catholic campuses.

5 secondary schools: 4 of these are refurbished and extended buildings;

Braidburn Special Needs school which caters for nursery through secondary school age pupils with additional support needs;

Howdenhall Secure Unit which is a secure residential care and education setting for young people aged 10-17 with significant social, emotional, and behavioural needs. The unit is in use all year round, 24 hours per day/7 days per week;

Rowanfield is a special school in the north of the city which focuses on educating vulnerable children; and
-
Goodtrees Neighbourhood Centre which is vital community hub within the Moredun area of the city.
