PRIVACY POLICY

The following terms and conditions set out our Privacy Policy (the "Policy") that applies to your use of the website, located at www.iml-uk.com ("the Site"). The Policy should be read in conjunction with the General Terms and Conditions relating to the use of the Site (the "Terms"). Please read the Policy and the Terms carefully before accessing the Site. By accessing or using the Site you agree that you accept the Terms and the Policy and to be bound by them. If you do not accept the Terms or the Policy, you may not use or access the Site.

1. Collection of Personal Data


IML will not collect any personal data about you such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or other data from which you can be identified ("Personal Data") though the Site unless you provide it voluntarily. Where Personal Data is provided by you through the Site, we will process it in accordance with UK data protection law. In the UK, data protection law is enforced by the Information Commissioner's Office.

Any collection of Personal Data, as a result of any registration (including, but not limited to, subscriptions to newsletters or as a result of requesting information on any of IML's products or services), or otherwise, shall only be done with your explicit consent to such collection and processing by IML of the Personal Data disclosed by you for the purpose(s) for which it was disclosed.

Where Personal Data is collected, we shall take reasonable and appropriate measures to ensure that such Personal Data is stored in a secure manner. However, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure, and Personal Data submitted by means of the internet may be vulnerable to unauthorised access by third parties. Any submission of Personal Data using the internet is therefore at your own risk.

If you do not want your Personal Data collected, please do not submit it. If you have already submitted Personal Data and would like it removed from any records held by IML, or would like this information updated and/or corrected, please contact us at the address detailed in the Terms. IML will then use its reasonable efforts to delete your Personal Data from its records or update it or correct it as necessary, as soon as possible after you contact us.

2. Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Data


In the unlikely event that IML holds or processes any Personal Data about you, IML will not transfer such Personal Data to any countries outside the European Economic Area ("EEA") without your prior consent and without first having assessed the adequacy of protection for individual rights in respect of personal data available in those countries.

In the unlikely event that IML holds or processes any Personal Data about you, IML may disclose such Personal Data to any member of our group, which means (as applicable) our subsidiaries or holding company, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006. We may also disclose your Personal Data to prospective buyers in connection with the sale of all the business or assets of IML; or to third parties if we are under a duty to disclose or share such data to comply with a legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of IML or our customers. This includes exchanging information for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

3. Your Rights


Under UK data protection law you have the right to see a copy of the Personal Data held by IML about you ("Subject Access"). If you wish to make such a Subject Access request please contact us at the address detailed in the Terms. Please note that there is likely to be a charge for making a Subject Access request. At present, the maximum charge payable by you is £10.

You also have the right to ask us not to process your Personal Data for marketing purposes. We will inform you before we collect your data if we intend to use your data for such purposes, or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can advise us at any time that you wish us to stop processing your data for such purposes by contacting us at the address set out in the Terms.

4. Cookies


When you view the Site, some information may be stored on your computer. This information will be in the form of a "cookie" or similar file. Cookies are small files sent by our server that are installed on your computer system's hard drive. Cookies track your access to the Site and store information related to the pages of the Site which you visit. Cookies help us improve the Site and deliver a more personalised service to you.
